Welcome Skateboards Reminds Us That "A Curb Is All You Need"
It's true. Sometimes all you need is a curb… especially if you can dance on them the way Nathan Ko (or @bevup as many of you know him on Instagram) dances on them.
The fact that these iconic curbs still provide new options for combos and tricks is pretty incredible. I guess it takes a certain type of skater…but it's as simple as that. Nathan is clearly one of those skaters.

Sometimes it's just adding a grab to your slide or grind. Sometimes it's popping out into a nose manual on flat, shoving out and calling it a day. I'll tell you what, I'm backing both, and any other imaginative exit or additions that exist in the halls of these creative skaters' minds.
I almost don't even care what tricks anyone does here either, as long as they're doing them fast and stylish. And if you need an example of what I'm talking about, look no further than this clip right here.
The way he locks in with such precision, pops out with such ease. He's so light on his feet, too. Just gliding like the curbs were literally smeared with melted butter.
And flipping out of a grind on these curbs is not an easy task either. So that switch crook half-Cab flip pop-over is pretty out of control.
Also, wait-is Nathan officially riding for Welcome now? Hmmm...
Either way...this spot is truly timeless. Nathan rips. Skateboarding rules. Sometimes (hell, most of the time!) a curb really is all you need.
